Universal Music Group on Friday sued News Corp.'s MySpace, claiming MySpace is infringing on Universal's copyrights by allowing users to post the record company's music and videos. The suit is the first filed by a major entertainment company against the popular social network, which has been putting measures in place to try to appease companies that have had unauthorized content posted on the site. Universal, which is owned by French media conglomerate Vivendi, filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court Central District of California. The suit accuses MySpace of accepting video from users filled with illegal content owned by others, and then reformatting the video so it can be displayed on the site. In posting the content, MySpace is participating in the infringement. The lawsuit seeks the maximum statutory damages of $150,000 for each infringed copyrighted work, and asks the court to order MySpace to remove all Universal-owned material.

Safety
1.       She gave out the name of her little brother, her hobbies and her own name.
2.       Yes I have put it on the Internet but only on facebook, which is even more dangerous but I have also set my settings so u can only see my name and my friends
3.       The most important thing to remember on the Internet is common sense
The other story I choose is named survivor diaries, it’s about two men that at age 12 and 14 both met someone online.  They told that person about their entire life and what was going on they gave them all their personal information and kept them up to date about their life, until one day when both of their lives would change forever.  One of the men had the person they met online waiting for them to get home from school that day. The other got into a car with someone at midnight and went to another’s house.  bad things happened but both of the mad spoke up and told someone about what they had went through I believe that’s why they are survivors and both of them now know the danger of meeting someone online.
